Thank you for choosing to spend time with us and experiencing all Oakwood Resort and area has to offer. You may have noticed that your reservation confirmation, the bill for your stay, and our website includes a reference to a Resort Fee equal to 7.0% of the accommodation charges.
This charge is not a government levy or tax.
The charge is used by the Resort to subsidize the destination sales and marketing efforts required by the Resort to remain competitive with jurisdictions that benefit from publically funded (Municipal Accommodation Tax) tourism marketing associations such as London, Niagara, Muskoka, and many others. Furthermore, this fee includes beach access, parking, wifi and sustainability improvements for the Resort.
