We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • This position will be working in Event Bars and Dave’s Pub & Grill.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Manage the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take orders and recommend drink specials.
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices.
  • Inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Smart Serve Certification

  • Proficient in using POS systems, for order entry and payment processing.

  • Previous restaurant experience in bartending/food service role is required.

  • Must be available for a full-time, 30-40 hour+ schedule, with high availability during seasonal peaks, including all weekends.

  • Experience with inventory management, placing orders, tracking stock levels and working closely with other departments is required.

  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.

  • Basic math skills for cash handling and managing transactions accurately.

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual responsibilities.

  • A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality that enhances the guest experience.

This position is in Grand Bend, ON.

A successful applicant must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
