We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic GROUNDS ATTENDANT to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will have a passion and a commitment to providing exceptional customer
service in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to

Responsibilities

 Responsible for the general maintenance of the ground’s gardens and surrounding
bushery. This will include the watering, grooming and weeding of all gardens
 Required to sweep all the properties walkways and keep maintained as specified by
Groundskeeping Manager
 Frequent walking, standing, stretching, bending, and moving about / or walking on foot
across the entire 8-hour shift
 Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate various pieces of moving machinery that
needs to be driven
 Must be able to lift between 25 – 50 lbs. maximum with various pieces of equipment and
supplementary items
 This is an extremely physical condition and requires the candidate to be very physically
fit and active to be able to successfully complete and keep up with their daily
responsibilities
 Ability to work constantly and continually in an extremely hot environment as this role is
exclusively working outside – particularly during the hot & humid days of our
summertime, as well as working in rainy or cool temperatures of our spring and fall
season

Qualifications

Knowledge of plant life
 Knowledge of machinery operations
 Physically fit and able to lift maximum 50 lbs.

 Ability to work in all kinds of hot and cool environments

This position is in Grand Bend, ON. A successful applicant must be able to reliably
commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
