We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic KITCHEN DISHWASHER to join our dynamic team. The

Responsibilities

To organize, clean and sanitize all kitchen surface
 To adhere to all cleaning and sanitizing procedures and maintain a safe work
environment
 Report to work punctually with standard uniform including hat or hair net
 Ensure all dishes, port and pans are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored
 Clean and sanitize dishwasher and sinks daily
 Remove trash & recyclable to garbage area on a regular basis throughout the day
 To clean and organize dish room and storage shelves daily
 General kitchen cleaning exhaust hoods, range tops, ovens, deep fryers, shelves walls
floors or any other equipment or area as needed under direction of Kitchen Manager
 Daily sweeping and mopping of floors, halls, stairs, in kitchen storage and receiving
areas
 Food preparation as required (peeling of onions, carrots, potatoes daily)
 Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment adhering to the legislation
set out by Occupational Health and Safety
 Perform other duties as required
 Promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest,
friendly and should also be able to address guests’ requests and enquiries

Qualifications

Qualifications
 Education
o Minimum grade 9 education

 Specialized knowledge
o Must have strong communication skills
o Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
o Team player and self-starter
o Ability to work independently and effectively as required

Physical Requirements
 Frequent walking between two buildings where our kitchens are located
 Ability to traverse up and down multiple flights of stairs frequently
 Frequent and ongoing standing, bending, kneeling, crouching and reaching above the head
 Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs
 Ability to work in an extremely hot environment particularly during the hot & humid days of our
summer time

 This position is in Grand Bend, ON. A successful applicant must be able to reliably
commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
