We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented MARKETING EVENT ASSISTANT to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on, support-focused role suited to a student or early-career professional looking to gain experience in hospitality, marketing and resort operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Draft and schedule social media posts across resort platforms
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns as directed
  • Assist in preparing all materials for Trade Shows
  • Coordinate the creation of promotional material (digital and print)
  • Coordinate basic email marketing communications
  • Prepare and update twelve-month Marketing Calendar
  • Ensure all brochure stands and menus posted on the Resort are current and full
  • Assist with photography and content collection for marketing purposes

Operational Support (As required)

  • Assist with event setup and coordination when required
  • Support food and beverage operations during conferences, group events, or high-occupancy periods
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall resort operations

Teamwork

  • Ability to work with all other departments and fully understand events happening at the resort at all times.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program (Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications or related field preferred)

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and website editing tools

Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor

Other:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak season

Additional Info

  • This position is in Grand Bend, ON. A successful applicant must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
