We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Performs duties in cleaning and services of guest rooms and baths under supervision of the Housekeeping Manager.
Required to move furniture as required (light objects only)
Reporting of maintenance needs to supervisors/managers
Transporting dirty linen and garbage to the designated drop areas
Laundry as needed (primarily blankets, bedspreads, mattress pads, rags, etc.)
Required to drive golf carts in outside areas for transportation to rooms
Required to carry, load and fold linen onto carts, shelves, etc.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cleaning techniques an asset
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Must be able to work well with minimal supervision and be a team player
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items (approx. 25lbs)
Flexibility in scheduling a must
Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest and friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.

Additional Info

This position is in Grand Bend, ON. A successful applicant must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
